Xiaomi has recently introduced their latest Mi Electric Scooter 1S in China. It will feature an aircraft grade aluminum body along with a portable design and is equally light weight at just 12.5 Kg.
The Mi Electric Scooter 1S is IP54 rated for water resistance and is developed under MIJIA Mi Ecosystem. Coming with a folding design, it allows one to fold the scooter in just 3 seconds with the simple press of a button.
It comes with an 8.5-inch tires along with shock absorbing capabilities and also has a dual front and rear brake design. Its front wheel utilizes E-ABS anti-lock system whilst the rear comes with a mechanical disc brake.
The Mi Electric Scooter 1s comes with a multi-function dashboard along with one-key operation. It features Eco, Normal and Sports mode to sooth your needs. The scooter will be powered by a 500W DC brushless motor that should give about 3000 Hours motor life, 250W rated power which delivers 25 Km/h top speed.
On the front end there is a LED Front light that lights up about 6 meters away. It also has a bright red light as well. The scooter’s lithium battery should give you about 30Km of usage that is based on a 75Kg load.
The Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 1s also boasts an energy recovery system which can be switched on by pressing the brake handle or release the throttle when moving. How it works is that it turns the kinetic energy into electricity for a better battery life. Xiaomi has also added a BMS (battery management system) to monitor battery health in real time.
Being also featured as a smart scooter that pairs with smart devices utilizing Bluetooth. Its Application allows one to track speeds, cycling habits, battery available and more.
The Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 1s is currently priced at 1999 Yuan (USD$ 282 / Rs. 21,590 approximately) and will be available in the colours of White and Black.
