I recently upgraded my cable tv box to a dvr, I had difficulty getting it unpaired, I spoke to a Xfinity staff member for more than an hour on the phone and I have a suggestion to those staff members when they are assisting “hard of hearing seniors” such as myself when instructing them to depress the ABC & D buttons. Consider having your telephone assistants to use the “phonetic” words of Alpha for A, Beta for B, Charlie for C and Delta for D as you know B, C, D sounds pretty much like the same button for people with mild hearing disorders. Just a suggestion, I saved you the cost of sending a technician to my place, I studied engineering in college, duh 🙂
