Apple has recently renovated their MacBook Air 2020. It will feature a new Magic Keyboard which comes with a redesigned scissor mechanism for 1mm key travel and a comfortable typing experience. It will also feature Touch ID and Force Touch trackpad.
It will feature 13.3-inch True Tone IPS Retina display along with up to 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution at 277ppi pixel density. It will run on MacOS Catalina.
Depending on the variant, it can either be configured with a 1.1GHz dual-core Intel Core i3 OR a 1.1Ghz quad-core Intel Core i5 OR a 1.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor. These will come with Intel Iris Plus Graphics.
The new Apple MacBook Air 2020 will feature an 8GB LPDDR4X memory (3733MHz, Configurable up to 16GB) and will be offered in 256GB / 512GB / 1TB / 2TB storage (PCIe based SSD) variants.
It will come with a 49.9Wh lithium-polymer battery and also a 30W USB-C Power Adapter. The battery is said to give it’s user about 11 hours of web browsing or up to 12 hours of Apple TV App movie playback or up to 30 days of standby mode.
The new Apple MacBook Air features stereo speakers along with support for Dolby Atmos and delivers a wide stereo sound. It will also feature a 3-mic array along with directional beamforming and 3.5mm audio jack.
Connectivity will feature two Thunderbolt 3 ports: a Display Port, Thunderbolt port along with up to 40GB/s and USB 3.1 Gen2 port. There will be support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac Dual Band and Bluetooth version 5.
The New MacBook Air will be available in colours of Space Gray, Silver and Gold shades. The i3/256GB will be priced at Rs. 92990 in India whilst its i3/256GB variant will be priced in the US at $999 and its i5/512GB mode price at $1299.
